The Principle Of A Vegetable Cutter

A vegetable cutter primarily relies on its internal mechanical structure to work together to cut vegetables. Its working principle can be summarized in the following key steps:

Conveying and Positioning
Frame and Conveyor Belt: The frame of the vegetable cutter serves as the overall support structure, ensuring the stable operation of all components. The conveyor belt is responsible for continuously and stably transporting the vegetables to the cutting area.

Cut-Pressure Belt: During the process of the conveyor belt transporting the vegetables to the cutting area, the cut-pressure belt fixes and compresses the vegetables, preventing them from moving or jumping during cutting, ensuring cutting accuracy and safety.

Cutting Operation
Slicing Mechanism: One of the core components of the vegetable cutter, it typically consists of a centrifugal slicing mechanism or rotating blades. For hard vegetables like melons and tubers, the centrifugal slicing mechanism uses high-speed rotating blades to cut the vegetables into thin slices, the thickness of which can be freely adjusted within a certain range. For soft leafy vegetables or pre-cut slices, the vertical blades are responsible for processing them into various shapes such as cubes, diced pieces, and diamonds.

Speed control box or tower wheel speed control mechanism: These mechanisms are used to adjust the rotation speed of the slicing mechanism or conveyor belt to adapt to the cutting needs of different types and sizes of vegetables. By adjusting the rotation speed, the cutting accuracy and efficiency can be precisely controlled.

Adjustment and Settings
Adjustable eccentric wheel: A key component in the vegetable cutter used to adjust the cutting length. By rotating the adjustable eccentric wheel, the cutting length can be adjusted arbitrarily within a certain range to meet the length requirements of different vegetables.

Vertical blade installation and adjustment: The installation and adjustment of the vertical blade is crucial to the cutting quality. During installation, first rotate the adjustable eccentric wheel to move the blade holder to the bottom dead center, then appropriately raise the blade holder to make the vertical blade contact the conveyor belt and tighten it. During adjustment, the cutting specifications can be changed by moving the fulcrum and tightening the screws according to the type and thickness of the vegetables being cut.
