Equipment Introduction and Working Principle

 

A freeze dryer (freeze dryer) consists of a refrigeration system, a vacuum system, a heating system, and an electrical instrumentation control system. The main components are a drying box, a condenser, a refrigeration unit, a vacuum pump, and heating and cooling devices.

Principle

Freeze drying, also known as freeze drying, is to freeze the material containing water into a solid state (when the material is frozen, the water contained in some water molecules is discharged to the surface of the material and frozen), and then the frozen solid material is placed in a freeze drying chamber, and the heating system heats and dries the material.

The temperature is raised in a vacuum environment, so that the water in it sublimates from a solid state to a gaseous state, and the water (water vapor) contained in the material is brought to a freezing capture box by vacuuming (crystallized when cooled and attached to the cold trap), thereby removing the water in the material, which is used to better preserve the material.
